Beautiful and bright 1 Bedroom, 1.5 Bath in Nature's Landing Condo. This is one of the newest developments with great access to downtown, the park, beach area, shops and restaurants. The unit is beautifully decorated with well-stocked kitchen and everything you need to make your stay easy. There is a swimming pool, hot tub with an area to barbecue outside and a nice trail to dock access where you can enjoy a kayak ride on the back of the island or see the splendor of birds and wildlife.

The unit has a porch on the back with great seating and/or outdoor eating. There is a space under that unit for parking that is available to only the unit. The condominium development is the only one on the island that has an elevator. Carts are available downstairs for easy delivery of luggage and coolers from your car to the unit.

We have a team that will be here to assist you with any questions or help that you might need. Caryn and Mendy manage several units and we both live on the island and we are just a few minutes away from the unit.

Cedar Key is a quaint wonderful town that is an island on the Gulf. The condominium development that the unit is located is one block from the park, small beach, golf cart rental and near downtown with restaurants and speciality shops. There are wonderful options of swimming at Nature's Landing, a dock where you can bring your kayak, and barbecue area in the back area of the development.

Walking is a great option or bring a bike to explore the island. You can also rent a golf cart and explore many parts of the island!

Great parking for trailer with boat! There is a parking area that has space for up to 26 foot boat with vehicle. It also has an area with fresh water wash down for your boat.

This is a pet friendly unit! Pet fee is as follows: Pet fee of $45 per night will be charged at booking or prior to check in, depending on which site you booked. $180 per week of after four nights or $420 per month. If you did not pay a pet fee on booking, please notify us immediately.  Evidence of pets in unit without paying the pet fee as required will result in a penalty of $300 charge to your card on file. Please check with us on any other pets. We do require that pets do not get on bed or furniture. Please do not leave barking dogs in the unit. Please pick up after your pet when outdoors.

INCOMMUNICADO In 2014 we took an unplanned detour while on our way to the Tampa area and the rest is history. Kenn turned and I asked, “where are we going?” and his reply, “somewhere I heard about in a song.” “Travis McGee is still in Cedar Key, that’s what ol’ John MacDonald said.” This is the first line of Jimmy Buffet’s song, INCOMMUNICADO. My husband, Kenn, is a Parrot Head and avid reader. He had read the books by John MacDonald and knew to whom Jimmy Buffet was referring. There was the road sign, Cedar Key to the left. So, left we went. That left became our oh so right. It was a dreary, rainy day on October 31, 2014. Absolutely nothing stood out to make anyone say, this is paradise, except a feeling. Driving across the Number 4 Bridge felt like leaving the world and all the stress and problems of life behind. In front of us was a feeling of peace and beauty that not everyone would understand. I fell in love without even realizing I had. We were only in Cedar Key a few hours. We grabbed a bite to eat and did a little shopping then headed back to reality and our planned trip. When our trip was over and the time to go home came, I asked could we please go back through that little town. This was the first of many trips we have made to Cedar Key. This is where we honeymooned and is a part of our soul and who we are. It feels like home to us. For several years we discussed the possibility of purchasing our own little piece of paradise. On December 11, 2020, that discussion became reality with the purchase of Nature’s Landing, A202. Because we are not in a place to retire just yet, we bought a place that we could use when we visit but could also share with others by renting it when we are not using A202. The art on the walls is by artists that we came across at the Arts Festival in Cedar Key, one of our favorite times to visit. If it is not by an artist from the Arts Festival, then it is by a local artist or in the case of photography, a photo either Kenn or I took. The “Palm Sunday Sunrise” is a photo I took just on the east side of Cedar Cove. Our Alabama home has similar art to reflect the feeling of Cedar Key, our home away from home. That is our Cedar Key story. We hope that you will experience and feel some of the magic of Cedar Key while you are here. Kenn and I have tried to make “INCOMMUNICADO” a place where you can come in, relax and feel at home. Welcome… Pam and Kenn
